Prior to joining the firm in 2003, David was employed as an analyst at Mellon Growth Advisors and Fidelity Management and Research. He also worked as a consultant in the communications industry. David earned a B.A., summa cum laude, in economics and political science from St. Mary's College of Maryland and an M.A. in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. Rottinghaus earned a B.S. in business administration from Bowling Green State University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a certified public accountant.

Charlie is a familiar face in the financial media and writes frequently as the editor of the Fleet Street Letter Britain’s oldest financial newsletter. Prior to fund management, Charlie was an officer in the Grenadier Guards, British Army.
