Christine Reed Analyst 2023 now
自傳 Christine is an analyst in the Fixed Income team at Ninety One covering Latin American sovereign and currency markets. Based in New York, Christine will be responsible for all Latin America coverage and will support the alpha decision-making process across investment capabilities. Christine joins Ninety One from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where she was vice president, Head of Emerging Markets Local Debt, responsible for all emerging markets rates positions taken globally across their EM dedicated and crossover assets. Prior to this, Christine was an Associate at Citigroup on their Latin American Fixed Income and FX trading desk where she was a market maker of fixed income and fx products in countries including Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Dominican Republic. Christine has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and a Secondary Degree in Global Health Policy from Harvard University.
Tina Vandersteel Portfolio Manager 2023 now
自傳 Ms. Vandersteel is the head of GMO’s Emerging Country Debt team, the lead portfolio manager for its strategies, and a partner of the firm. In her role as portfolio manager, she focuses on security selection and portfolio construction. Prior to joining GMO in 2004, she worked at J.P. Morgan in fixed income research developing quantitative arbitrage strategies for emerging debt and high yield bonds. She began her career at Morgan Guaranty Trust, attending Morgan Finance Program #18, before establishing her career in emerging debt. Ms. Vandersteel earned her bachelor's degree in Economics from Washington & Lee University. She is a CFA charterholder.

Louis Hanover - 2018 now
自傳 Louis Hanover is Chief Investment Officer and Co-Managing Partner of the firm. Mr. Hanover oversees Marathon’s portfolio managers and their investment activities. Mr. Hanover’s responsibilities also include managing risk on a firm-wide basis, as well as serving as Senior Portfolio Manager for MSOF, MCOF, and managed accounts. Additionally, Mr. Hanover serves on Marathon’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Mr. Hanover has extensive trading experience and expertise as an asset manager, arbitrageur, and risk manager in both the equity and fixed income markets on a global basis. Prior to co-founding Marathon in 1998, Mr. Hanover was a Managing Director at Smith Barney, where he was responsible for all trading and risk management in the global emerging markets debt trading division. Earlier, Mr. Hanover was a Director of the global emerging markets debt and foreign exchange derivatives trading division at Merrill Lynch. In 1991, he pioneered the use of warrants on a basket of Latin American equities at Nomura Securities. Mr. Hanover previously traded European sovereign debt futures at First Chicago Capital Markets and was a floor trader at the Chicago Board of Trade. Mr. Hanover received a B.A. degree in Economic History from the University of Chicago (1986) and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago (1989).
Gaby Szpigiel Partner 2018 now
自傳 Gabriel Szpigiel is a Partner, Senior Portfolio Manager for Marathon’s emerging market credit strategy, and a member of Marathon’s Executive Committee. Mr. Szpigiel is responsible for asset management of sovereign and corporate credit, local markets and equities (including distressed debt and special situations) across Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He has extensive experience in Emerging Markets and contributes to the firm's strong investing and trading capabilities and key relationships. He joined Marathon from Deutsche Bank, where he worked for six years as a Managing Director, first in London responsible for Eastern Europe trading and then Head of Global Fixed Income Latin American Trading based in New York. He was also a Senior Trader at Chase Manhattan Bank, ING, and Smith Barney, where he worked with both Louis Hanover and Bruce Richards. Additionally, he is a board member of a non-profit organization, Women Across Frontiers and has served as Vice Chairman of the Emerging Markets Trade Association. He holds a M.S. degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Andrew Szmulewicz - 2018 now
自傳 Andrew Szmulewicz is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in Marathon’s Emerging Markets Group. Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Szmulewicz spent 9 years at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he worked on the Emerging Markets trading desk developing key market benchmarks such as the CEMBI and NEXGEM indices and determining rules and instrument level composition for the widely followed EMBI, GBI-EM and ELMI+ index series. He holds a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Keith A. Lloyd economist, Member 2018 now
自傳 Keith Lloyd is Group Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Colchester Global Investors and has been with the firm since its inception. Keith manages the Investment and Operations teams and oversees investment research, portfolio construction and implementation on a day to day basis. Keith regularly contributes his insights to Investment Outlook papers. Keith began his career in 1983 as an international macro-monetary economist and Investment Manager. Prior to Colchester, Keith spent eight years in the World Bank’s Investment Department managing global real and leveraged money as a lead fixed income portfolio manager, senior investment strategist and proprietary trader. His previous work experience includes seven years with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as an economist where he served on its policy-making committee. Keith has authored several exchange and interest rate papers. Keith is a CFA charterholder and has a BA in Economics from Massey University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Antoon de Klerk - 2017 now

He is co portfolio manager on Emerging Market Local Currency, Emerging Market Local Currency Total Return and African Fixed Income strategies and also contributes to regional analytical research. He joined the Investec Group in 2005 as part of the Investec chartered accountant (TOPP) Programme. After spending time in accounts and investment banking where he was involved with merger and acquisition advisory work, he joined the firm in 2006. Antoon holds a Master’s degree (cum laude) in Economics and an honours degree in Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch and is a Chartered Accountant (SA). Antoon studied in Germany as part of his post-graduate economic studies.
Hardeep Khangura Portfolio Manager 2015 now
自傳 Hardeep Khangura, CFA, serves as a Portfolio Manager to the Emerging Market Debt Fund. Mr. Khangura joined SEI in 2015 and currently supports Global Fixed Income portfolios. Mr. Khangura was previously a member of SEI's Fixed Income Manager Research team with coverage of global fixed income manager exposures across emerging markets, credit, sovereign and FX. Prior to joining SEI, Mr. Khangura operated in a similar capacity as a Fixed Income Manager Researcher at Willis Towers Watson. Previously, Mr. Khangura also headed the Fees ASK (Area of Specialist Knowledge), leading a team that analyzed, modelled and advised clients on the suitability and competitiveness of their investment manager fees. Mr. Khangura earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance, with honors, from the University of Warwick. Mr. Khangura is a CFA charterholder from the CFA Institute.
Werner Gey van Pittius Co-Head of Fixed Income 2013 now
自傳 Werner is Co-Head of Emerging Market Fixed Income at Ninety One. He is co-portfolio manager for the Emerging Market Local Currency and Hard Currency strategies and contributes to regional analytical research for Latin America. Werner moved to London from Cape Town where he was a fixed income quantitative analyst and managed Ninety One’s asset and liability matching book. Prior to Ninety One, Werner played professional rugby in concurrence with academic programmes. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Insurance Science from the University of Pretoria, a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in Financial Economics from the University of Stellenbosch, and a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Oxford University. In addition, Werner obtained the Society of Technical Analysts diploma and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation from the CFA® Institute in 2006 and is a CFA® Charterholder.
