He has also worked as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC undertaking research on public finance and commodity issues. Before that, until 1991, he ran a consultancy business advising on aid and trade related issues for four years, and worked in Her Majesty’s Department of Trade and Industry from 1985-7 with responsibility for multi-lateral development banks. Dr Booth holds three degrees including a Dphil in economics from Oxford and was a lecturer in economics at Christ Church, Oxford. | ||
