自傳 Matt is CIO of Boston Common’s International Strategies. He also conducts investment research in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Matt began his career at State Street Research and Management in Boston in 1995. From 1997 to 2001, he worked at Dodge & Cox in San Francisco, where he covered banks and REITS and helped the firm launch its international mutual fund. Matt received his BA, cum laude, in Economics and International Studies from Colby College, and has an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he specialized in emerging markets and worked on development consulting projects in Mexico and Ecuador. Matt has lived in Spain and has traveled extensively in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He currently serves on the board of Primary Source, a non-profit that deepens global understanding in schools
Liz Su Portfolio Manager 2021 now
自傳 Liz is the lead portfolio manager of Boston Common’s Emerging Markets (EM) strategies. In this capacity, she works with analysts to create sustainability-focused EM portfolios, helps grow the firm’s EM research capabilities, oversees overall portfolio positioning, and communicates with clients and prospects. She also has research responsibilities focusing on the global consumer staples sector. With over 15 years of investment experience spanning EM and Global equities, fixed income, and quantitative research, Liz is passionate about investing in EM companies that can enable the transition to a more inclusive and sustainable future. Prior to joining Boston Common, Liz was an analyst and portfolio manager at Batterymarch Financial Management, where she most recently served as the head of Asia ex-Japan on the Emerging Market Equities team. She played an instrumental role in launching an Asia ex-Japan long-short fund and a Global Equity fund. She also gained asset allocation experience with Standish Mellon Asset Management. She began her career in economic and strategy consulting in 2000. Liz earned a BA in International Finance from Wuhan University (China), an MA in Economics from Tufts University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society. Outside of investing, she volunteers as a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys tennis, yoga, and traditional Chinese dance.

自傳 Corné possesses over 25 years of international investment experience, before joining Boston Common in 2012, he spent eight years as a senior global equity portfolio manager for BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he managed the BNP Paribas (Fortis) Equity World Finance Fund, during which he received several Lipper awards. In addition, Corné has spent time at Rabobank group and Fortis Investments. Corné holds a master’s degree in Monetary Economics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Before joining Boston Common, he served as an equity analyst at Fidelity Investments, Citigroup Asset Management, and a hedge fund. While at Fidelity, Praveen managed the Select Industrial Equipment fund for two years and the Select Advisor Electronics fund for a year. At Citigroup Asset Management, Praveen was responsible for equity research of the global semiconductor sector. During his business development career at Cox Communications and GTE Wireless, Praveen worked extensively on projects in Mexico. He has also lived and worked in Japan and Germany early in his career at GTE. Praveen received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University in India.
Scott W. Gates Portfolio Manager 2010 2021
自傳 Scott Gates has more than 28 years of experience, including over 14 years with Friess Associates.  He serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Friess and Friess of Delaware, positions he has held since March 2013. Previously, from September 2012 until March 2013, he served as Co-Chief Investment Officer of Friess and Friess of Delaware. Mr. Gates has been a Team Leader since 2008, a member of the Management Committee of Friess and Friess of Delaware since 2010, and a key member of the Research Team since joining Friess in 2003. Prior to Friess Associates, Scott was a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Gardner Lewis Asset Management.  His career also includes time spent as a trader in the foreign exchange for Butler Harlow LTD in New York.  Scott earned his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University and his MBA from Emory University.
William F. D'Alonzo CEO, CIO 1997 2013

Ethan shares responsibility for idea generation with the equity analyst team and portfolio management along with the firm’s two founding partners, Ken Grossman and Glen Schneider. After graduating from Brown University in 1996, Ethan spent the last 16 years at Friess Associates focused on the investment management activities of the Brandywine Funds. He has a multi-faceted US equities background, having experience investing in venture capital, private equity and public portfolio management ranging from small cap to large cap companies. During the 21 years he was at Friess he rose to become a Team Leader and Principal on a team that managed $2 Billion in AUM at its peak. As a public portfolio manager during the most recent twenty years of his career, assets for which he was directly responsible appreciated by more than four hundred basis points per annum above the relevant benchmark, the Russell 3000 Growth Index. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics in 1976 and became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1981
